Check Out These Screenshots From BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY
Written by Skott Stoland on 09/02/2010 – 8:22 AM -About a year ago, Rocksteady Studios did the impossible and released a good Batman video game. Not just a good one, Batman: Arkham Asylum was a damn great one. And in the Fall of next year, they’re hoping to repeat the trick with the sequel, Arkham City. Will it be as good? No one knows. But based on these newly-released screenshots, it certainly looks like it could.
Batman still looks just as badass as he did in Arkham Asylum.
The Catwoman design is awesome. I’m thinking it’s a great modification to Darwyn Cooke’s version, and loving the texture-y costume details .
Two-Face’s whole arm (and seemingly whole left side) being burnt is a new look for the character. I’m curious as to how it’ll look in motion in the actual game.
Following her bondage nurse costume from the first game, Harley gets a makeover this time. Still rocking the corset and bra, she’s got leather pants and tattoos now (including a kind of sweet tribute to the Joker on her hip). I agree with Chris Sims that you don’t really need to sexy-up Harley, but I actually do dig this design a lot.
Batman just kicked that guy so hard he exterminated him like a Dalek. Batman rules.
I think I’m going to play the game imagining that I’m beating up ICP fans. It’ll make the game even more fun. This one’s for Tila Tequila!

Maybe the city’d have less problems if Batman spent more time fighting crime and less time on Twitter.
