The MAD MAX: FURY ROAD Trailer Might Be The Best Thing From #SDCC

It’s been a very long time since Mad Max has been seen in a movie theatre (the last time was Beyond Thunderdome in 1985). This new film, Fury Road, has been in some level of Development Hell for almost that long, 25 years. George Miller has been trying to get this movie made longer than some of our readers have been alive.

It’s surprising then, that the trailer for Fury Road is coming out of San Diego Comic Con with perhaps the most buzz. But it deserves that praise, it’s fantastic.

Tom Hardy does a damn fine job filling Mel Gibson’s shoes, don’t you think?

According to Miller, the entire film is a “105-minute chase scene through the wasteland.” And that’s really all you need, isn’t it? This jumped up so high on my list on movies for next year.
