Over the weekend we were hit with two new spots for Ridley Scott’s kinda-sorta Alien prequel, Prometheus. This one-two punch included the first full trailer for the film and another piece of the viral campaign.

I have to admit I was down on this project at first, but the more I see the better it looks and this trailer looks fantastic.
Really fantastic.
We were also given the second release in Prometheus‘ viral campaign, an ad for… well, you’ll see.
I find it interesting that the androids we’ve seen in the Alien films were named (in order) Ash, Bishop and Call. And now we’re introduced to David 8. I wonder if that pattern is a coincidence or not. Or maybe it was and now it isn’t, if that makes any sense.
