After a very long run of very bad games based on the Alien franchise, it looks like we might finally have one worthy of the legacy of the (first two) films. The creators behind Alien: Isolation certainly seem like they’re doing everything right.
I’m loving the idea of “we wouldn’t build anything that couldn’t have been built on the original set in 1979.”
One can only hope that the hype and the promise are well-deserved. We’ll find out on October 7, when the game hits PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Sorry, Nintendo fans.
