It’s been kind of an open secret for a while now that Kick-Ass star Aaron Taylor-Johnson would be playing Quicksilver in the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron, but now it’s actually officiallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
Oh, sorry about that. Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s casting made me nod off for a minute there. Like I said in my review of Kick-Ass, he’s a charisma vacuum, and by far the least interesting thing in his own movie. In the Avengers cast, he’ll be so out of his depth it’ll just be sad.
In X-Men: Days of Future Past the character will be played by American Horror Story‘s Evan Peters, who coincidentally appeared in Kick-Ass.
