In news that would have made 15 years-ago me very happy, Kevin Smith will be co-writing a Batman 66/Green Hornet crossover comic.
The 12-part bi-weekly digital-first comic will be a direct sequel to the Batman episodes, “A Piece Of The Action”/”Batman’s Satisfaction,” which first teamed up the characters back in 1969.
Batman 66 Meets the Green Hornet will be co-written by Ralph Garman, a DJ and voice actor who is apparently well-known for his love of Batman, and Kevin Smith, a former filmmaker who now spends all his time promoting his own existence. If nothing else, the art by Ty Templeton will be fantastic. It always is.
