BATMAN VS SUPERMAN Has An Official Title And You’ll Never Guess What it Is

After months of reminding people that “Batman vs Superman” was not the official title of the Man of Steel sequel, but merely a working title, it’s time for me to almost eat my words.

It was announced today that the film, when it hits theatres in 2016, will be called Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice – a terrible title which will, no doubt, forever be made fun of as sounding like a lawsuit. At least they kinda sorta admitted it’s a Justice League movie though.

Also released today was the logo for the film, which is simply a slightly fancier version of the one shown at Comic Con.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (ugh) started filming today and is due in theatres in just under two years, on May 6, 2016.
