This viral spot for next month’s (formerly last year’s) G.I. Joe: Retaliation is pretty damn great, and something you kind of need to see.
I love that they got Keith David, voice of the Navy recruitment commercials, for this. The ad is more directly for Cobra Special Forces, which is still a bit vague, looking at the website. There’s some sort of Facebook element and live events that are all either at races or things like WWE shows and Kid Rock concerts. Weird.
Personally, I’m digging how much it reminds me of the brilliant Cobra Industries PSA from G.I. Joe: Renegades.
