CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON: SWORD OF DESTINY Finally Has A Trailer

It’s been a decade and a half since Ang Lee’s Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon blew away unsuspecting American audiences. With fight choreography like nothing they’d seen before the film was practically a revelation. Now all these years later Netflix is returning to that world with their first original film, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny.

And oh my god, this trailer.

Holy shit, right?

While Ang Lee is not involved (neither is most of the cast of the first film), it looks like Yuen Woo Ping (who has been a part of damn near every martial arts movie you’ve seen for decades) did a damn fine job taking over the director’s chair.

The movie hits both Netflix and Imax theatres on February 26, 2016. And in case you’re curious, that cover of “Bad Moon Rising” is by Palestra f/ Candace Devine.
