Fan Film Friday – BATMAN: PUPPET MASTER

This week’s FFF entry is a little older than the last few, just a hair over a year old really, but it’s super cool and worth checking out because there’s a very good chance you missed it.

Batman: Puppet Master, by writer Chris Wiltz and director Bryan Nest, is set in Nolan’s movie universe shortly after the end of The Dark Knight. It proposes a slight addition to the series’ canon that doesn’t expressly contradict anything in The Dark Knight Rises and allows for there to be at least a little bit of Batman time after Harvey Dent’s death. It also brings in some more villains in some interesting ways that work pretty organically in the world Wiltz and Nest are playing in.

Oh, and it looks remarkably professional and well-made.

I really dug this one. If you want to see more from Bryan Nest, here’s his YouTube page.
