The cast for Fox’s upcoming series about young Jim Gordon, Gotham, is rounding out nicely, with perhaps its second most important character finally given a face. The very young pre-Batman Bruce Wayne has been cast, as well as the equally young pre-Catwoman Selina Kyle and both actors are likely to elicit a reaction of “who?”
Bruce will be played by 14 year-old David Mazouz, who you’ll recognize if you’re one of the five people that watched the show Touch. Fox stresses that the series is not about Bruce Wayne, but Jim Gordon. So don’t expect it to be overly concerned with the young orphan’s rigorous mental and physical training.
Camren Bicondova will be taking on the role of Selina Kyle, presumably a juvenile delinquent and not yet a cat burglar (one hopes they’ll be avoiding the prostitute angle, seeing as Ms, Bicondova is 13 years old). You probably haven’t seen her in anything, as most of her resume is as a dancer.
(Holy shit, does she look like a young Michelle Pfeiffer though.)
They join a cast that already includes Ben McKenzie, Sean Pertwee, Donal Logue and Jada Pinkett-Smith.
