Even with very little information to go by, the Doctor Who TARDIS is easily one of the most anticipated LEGO sets in a very long time. We saw the initial LEGO Ideas concept back in February of last year and then the announcement that it’d be coming to stores, but aside from that not much. Today, however, we know what to expect and when to expect it.
The set consists of a TARDIS exterior that opens to connect to a larger console playset and includes minifigs of the 11th and 12th Doctors (in tweed and regeneration costumes respectively – if you want a standard 12th Doctor pick up the one for the Dimensions game), Clara Oswald and a Weeping Angel, as well as two constructable Daleks.
They even made a fun little video to promote the set.
The LEGO Doctor Who TARDIS will run $59.99 when it hits stores on December 1. Hey, that’s the day before my birthday! Thanks LEGO.
