Foggy Nelson is an important, if underappreciated, member of the Daredevil family. Very few fans would call him their favorite character, but his absence would definitely be noticed. Thankfully that’s something we don’t have to worry about, as his casting for the upcoming Netflix Daredevil series was announced today.
Nelson will be played by Elden Henson. You might know Henson from his roles in Dumb and Dumberer, The Butterfly Effect or Turner & Hooch.
This just in. I’m being told you’re more likely to know him from the Mighty Ducks movies or maybe Idle Hands.
You might also recognize him from the fact that every picture of him looks vaguely like a mugshot.

Foggy Nelson was, of course, previously played by Jon Favreau in his first Marvel sidekick role.
