The HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY Marketing Is Brilliant

Three movies into the series and countless books sold, the people behind the Hunger Games films can afford to take some risks with the marketing for Mockingjay Part 1, like viral ads that don’t mention the film in any way. Today saw the release of a new teaser spot to go with a recent series of posters, all in the form of Capitol propaganda. They’re incredible.

That is a hell of a trailer, but then I’m a sucker for anything that’s “from the universe” (see my love for anything connected to Buckaroo Banzai).

The posters, put out late last week, are visually stunning and in the same theme of telling the people of the various Districts to know their place.

I hope they continue the posters and release the ones for the rest of the Districts.
